He said he had ‘a touch of the Barry Whites’
Martin Lewis shocked the audience of his The Money Show after ‘collapsing’ on set last night.
The beloved presenter was back hosting his ITV show on Tuesday night (March 4), on hand to share his top-notch money advice to the nation.
However, things took a dramatic turn when Martin fell to the floor after struggling through the live show with an illness.

Martin Lewis returns to The Money Show
Near the end of The Martin Lewis Money Show episode, Martin answered some questions. He then explained to the audience that he was losing his voice.
“That’s it from me! My voice has gone… JK?” Martin said, before passing over to his co-host Jeanette Kwakye.
She said: “Oh no! I was going to ask you what is going on for next week…” Martin then awkwardly replied: “Um…”

As he gulped some water, he went on: “We’re probably going to do wills and power of attorney, and difficult conversations.
I’m going for a lie down!
“But it may change. I don’t know. I might be doing savings! Let me know which you prefer.
“Thank you to Jeanette, thank you to the audience, thank you to everybody upstairs… I’m going for a lie down!”
Martin then jokingly fell to the floor. Landing in the middle of the studio, he threw his head backwards as well as his arms on either side of him.

Martin revealed illness this week
It came after Martin revealed he was feeling under the weather during Tuesday’s episode (March 4) of This Morning.
“Not feeling too well at the moment are you Martin, what’s up?” asked co-host Ben Shephard.
“It’s just a cold. My voice is the bit that’s struggling most of all,” Martin replied.
He then quipped: “So forgive the slight Barry Whites this morning, I’ll be answering your money questions a little bit deeper,” as Cat Deeley laughed along.
Viewers send well wishes
Meanwhile, fans online sent their well-wishes to Martin on X, amid his illness.
“Hope you feel better soon,” said one person. A second fan wrote: “Hope you have some downtime tomorrow! (But suspect you don’t).”
A third also penned: “You did a great job to carry on. People watching the full show would realise why you needed to lie down. Hope you feel better soon.”
