In the early 2000s, a couple of mutual friends told Bret and Amy that they should meet as they might make a good match. However, Bret asked Amy to go to a Rolling Stones concert with him in Washington, D.C., and the invitation proved to be a good decision for them both. “I had zero expectations, but I got back on the plane thinking I’d met someone very special.
