If the Milwaukee Bucks fans are awaiting Giannis Antetokounmpo to join the NBA Slam Dunk contest next year, they now have news. The Greek Freak has recently refuted that he did not make the tweet in the wake of Mac McClung’s dunk. It was someone else who hacked his phone.
During the NBA All-Star press interaction, when asked about the probability of joining the contest next time, Antetokounmpo had a hilarious reply. He claimed that his children were responsible for his viral tweet expressing interest in joining the NBA Dunk Contest.
Following an exhilarating dunk performance by three-time champion Mac McClung, Antetokounmpo was inspired to throw his hat in the ring. However, when reporters sought clarification on his tweet, the nine-time All-Star delivered a delightful proclamation.
“I got hacked. My kids tweeted that… They came next to my nightstand, took my phone out of my charger, went to their room, tweeted, and I found out this morning,” Giannis said.
With children aged 5, 3, and 1, it’s hard to believe they had the capability to unlock his phone and go to Twitter to share such an audacious declaration. Yet, Giannis kept his regular charm of throwing in jokes when asked about something complicated.
Anthony Edwards Doesn’t Feel Giannis Antetokounmpo Is A Dunk Contest Type Of Guy.
While it’s clear who tweeted about the probable participation in the NBA contest next time, Giannis Antetokounmpo got a naysayer. Anthony Edwards recently shared his thoughts on Antetokounmpo’s potential fit in the NBA Dunk Contest.
Edwards believes that Giannis doesn’t possess the flashy style often seen in dunk contests. According to him, the big man from Greece may not be the best choice for the event.
“Giannis is an in-game dunker. I don’t feel like he’s a dunk contest type of guy,” Edwards said.
The timing of Edwards’ comments coincided with Mac McClung’s historic third consecutive win in the Dunk Contest. Though it was an amazing feat that has never been achieved before. McClung’s success has got the current NBA stars to take a second thought on their participation.
While Giannis may not be fit for the Dunk Contest, he has expressed interest in the 1-on-1 tournament during All-Star Weekend. He envisions this as a fun and engaging addition to the event lineup, saying, “If I had a chance to play 1-on-1 with anybody, I would love to do it.”

GTA Lucia (Photo via Twitter)
Social media might be down incredibly bad as Lucia from Grand Theft Auto is going insanely viral.
GTA 6’s trailer 2 officially broke a record after the upcoming second look at the game, which has continued to take forever to come out.
GTA 6 broke the record for the longest wait between a first and second trailer for a Rockstar Games title ever.
Rockstar has built a rich world of criminals, lunatics, and thieves spanning from Liberty City to San Andreas and beyond. With GTA 6 on the horizon, fans have become ecstatic after seeing a picture of Lucia.
For those unaware, she is a female criminal in the game. Grand Theft Auto states that she did her time at a prison complex in the State of Leonida in the mid-2020s for an unknown crime.
As anticipation builds for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, a picture shows Lucia stripped down to a two-piece bikini.
