MICHAEL STRAHAN received an hilariously random gift from the New York Giants this week.

But fans weren’t impressed, with one social media user labelling the object “terrifying” and others calling it the stuff of nightmares.

The Giants sent him a bobblehead of Strahan
The former Giants star and TV personality received a personalised bobblehead make in his likeness.

Strahan posted a picture of the small collectible figurine on Instagram.

He was dressed in his iconic No 92 Giants kit, with his arms muscles up and a wrestling belt.

The Good Morning America host captioned his post with: “Closest I am getting to putting back on a uniform LOL. Thank you @nygiants for sending me my life size bobble head for the man cave.”

The former defensive end’s jersey number 92 with the New York was officially retired in November 2021.

Strahan was a one club man, spending 15 seasons at the MetLife Stadium, which will be one of many arenas to host the 2026 World Cup.

The 53-year-old also announced that he was looking to become a minority shareholder of his former team on Friday.

But fans were freaked out by the bobblehead, with one writing: “My worst nightmare. Glad it’s in the man cave.”

He is in talks with a consortium alongside former teammate Eli Manning.

Strahan helped the Giants win Super Bowl XLII over the New England Patriots in his final season in 2007.

Strahan has been spotted visiting the Giants practice facility in recent weeks after takeover talks.

He was running his eye over their new recruits during the rookie training camp.

The Fox NFL Sunday star has a number of broadcasting roles outside of the sports show.

But his the $100,000 Pyramid show on Sunday nights has been officially scrapped.

He is the host of Good Morning America, which airs daily on the ABC Network.

There had also been rumors Strahan will quit hosting Good Morning America this summer.

However, The US Sun understands no decision over his future has been made.

He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
