There were plenty of compliments to go around at the 2025 Oscars with all the stunning looks walking down the red carpet. Just ask Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg.

In a video shared by Variety on X (formerly Twitter), Moore could be seen gushing over her Ghost costar’s Christian Siriano gown.

As the two posed for photos, Moore, 62, can be heard saying, “You look gorgeous,” with Whoopi, 69, replying, “I do feel kinda cute,” to which The Substance actress responded, “You do look kinda cute.”

The View host, who attended with her daughter Alex Martin, had a real Cinderella moment in a midnight blue gown that was pulled straight off Siriano’s recent runway show. It featured a breathtaking sculpted silhouette with a neckline that gave a rare look at her usually hidden shoulder tattoo.

Moore looked ever so glamorous herself in a scintillating custom Giorgio Armani Privé crystal-embroidered gown with a plunging neckline and dramatic train. Ahead of the awards show, her daughter Scout Willis, 33, told PEOPLE she could promise her mom’s outfit would be “iconic” and “to die for,” and Moore delivered on both fronts.

The duo’s carpet moment comes 35 years after the two starred in the 1990 film Ghost. Their interaction was one of the many nostalgic film reunions of the night.

Ghost, also starring Patrick Swayze and Tony Goldwyn, follows Sam Wheat (Swayze) and Molly Jensen (Moore), who are madly in love. However, Sam is murdered by Carl Brunner (Goldwyn), leaving him to returns as a ghost, who is unable to communicate with Molly. He then seeks help from medium Old Mae Brown (Goldberg) to help protect Molly. It was nominated for five awards and won three at the Oscars in 1991, including Best Supporting Actress for Goldberg’s performance.

This year, Moore earned her first Oscar nomination for The Substance, but lost in the Best Actress category to Anora’s Mikey Madison.
