GMA’s Ginger Zee has concerned fans over her an assignment in which she would be covering a heavy rainstorm.

She jokingly referred to the clip she posted to her personal Instagram as a “fit check” for her Grammy night outfit.

“My Grammy night fit check looks a little different (I’m covering the storm, not the Grammys)…all waterproof as I head out to areas that have evacuated for the heavy rain event that starts tonight through Tuesday,” she wrote.

“Please stay safe everyone. See you on @abcworldnewstonight & @goodmorningamerica,” the 43-year-old concluded.

In the attached video, Ginger was seen “suiting up” in a dark gray waterproof top and pants.

She added a bright blue coat on top of it all with the CBS News logo.

At the end of the clip, she lifted one leg up to show the camera her rubber waterproof boots.

There were also some images of the dangerous storm she would be reporting on.

This naturally had fans concerned for Ginger’s safety.

They hit the comments section of the Instagram post to express that sentiment.

“Please stay safe…These systems are playin around,” one fan wrote.

“Please be careful,” commented a second.

“Stay safe Ginger!!!” a third wrote.

“Stay safe. Even covering storms you look good,” a fourth fan added.

Meanwhile, Ginger gave fans a look at her life before she appeared on morning TV.

The 43-year-old meteorologist shared a throwback photo from when she was rocking little black dresses at the age of 21.

More than 400,000 users have posted throwbacks of themselves from their early 20s, and the GMA personality was one of the latest to join in on the fun.

She shared a snap of herself in a long-sleeve black minidress as she posed next to a pal in a black skirt and red tank top.

Ginger wore black eyeliner and lipstick and styled her hair in an updo.

She and her friend put their arms around one another and gave big smiles to the camera.

They posed in a bedroom with a house phone on the nightstand, along with a blue ceramic lamp with a colorful shade on it.

The wall was mostly empty except for a corkboard that had not one but two Ryan Phillippe posters.

A solo poster of Ryan as his character in Cruel Intentions was tacked up.

However, he was only visible from the neck down as the second poster covered the rest.

The top photo was a pic of the brooding actor not in character.

Ginger didn’t reveal whether this was her bedroom or her friend’s.

She simply captioned the throwback photo, “Everyone tap in. Let’s see you at 21.”

PRESENT DAY

The following day, Ginger posted a new photo of her in the present day at 43.

Standing on the set of GMA, the meteorologist posed in black jogger pants, a maroon sweater, and a gray blazer.

She finished off the look in maroon, heeled booties and a pair of hoop earrings.

The TV star parted her hair down the middle and styled her hair in waves.

“This is the proud face of someone who completed all her workplace compliance trainings,” she joked in the caption of her smiling face.

Her GMA co-star Gio Benitez commented, “Omg I still have to do that!”
