BIRTHDAY HEARTBREAK: Rylan Clark CANCELS show last-minute as Mum Linda is hospitalized!

Rylan Clark has issued a major update on his mum Linda after she was rushed to hospital with a health scare. On Friday, the radio presenter announced that he would be absent from his usual Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 2. He then explained that his mother, Linda, had been taken to the emergency ward. He said to fans on Instagram: “Mummy Linda isn’t well sadly so I won’t be hosting the show tomorrow. Thank you to the emergency team at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Especially Tanya who really looked after my mum. Will keep you updated as she’s on the mend. She’s a trooper.”

The radio star has now issued a new update and has confirmed that Linda is on the mend and that she will be home in time for her birthday. He said: “Antibiotics have worked. Letting her home on orals. So she’s home for her bday.” [sic]

Rylan also added: “Cheers, everyone, for your messages. Means a lot. Off sort wheelie bins x.”

He then posted a series of sweet pictures on Sunday on her birthday, adding the caption: “Happy Birthday to the best mum. So glad ur home for it. Love you x.”

In the collection of images, Rylan shared several of his mother whilst on holiday together. Many of his followers flooded the comments section with warm words of support.
