Joy Behar Embarrasses Crew With Romantic Revelation

There has never been a time when Joy Behar held back how she felt on The View. She is continuously transparent and open, and can sometimes say very controversial things. This can be hit or miss for viewers, with them referring to Joy and her co-hosts as mean girls. To Joy’s credit, she has been a comedian for decades, so she may think that everything she spills is all in good fun. Recently, she got into a war with RHONY OG and mogul, Bethenny Frankel over a comment regarding the 54-year-old’s boobs.

That fell flat, and Bethenny has clapped back at Joy with facts and some harsh words. Regardless, Joy will keep being herself; after all, she is eighty-two, and will live authentically. On a recent episode, she had no problem embarrassing the show’s crew when she spilled some past dating tea. Apparently, her daughter, Eve, and the stage manager, Paul, had dated a long time ago. Joy explained that the twosome went out a few times, and after this revelation, he was thoroughly embarrassed. So, how did this former romantic situation even come up?

The View ladies were chatting about the use of matchmakers in 2025. Although they have been around forever, Joy rather prefers setting people up and hoping they click. That was when co-host, Sunny Hostin, brought up Joy’s daughter and Paul:

“Didn’t you hook up your daughter with Paul, our stage manager?”

Sunny pointed to the way of Paul, who remained off-camera, as Joy shared that this did happen. After she spilled that she had set up Eve and Paul, he was seen looking embarrassed and uncomfortable. He then confirmed it was only a few dates a long time ago.

The Embarrassment Goes On

Sunny Hostin added that The View’s stage manager “hooked up” with Eve, to which Joy Behar put a stop to it. She reminded Sunny that it was her daughter she was talking about, and she only set them up. What happened after was their business. Paul and Eve have moved far beyond their dating days and have married other people.  Eve has been married for nearly two decades, but it does not change the fact that Joy and Paul could have been family at some point. Fans have seemed to let Joy’s rudeness go as they recently praised the OG host:
