Nika Mühl, the Seattle Storm’s breakout guard, isn’t just turning heads with her lockdown defense—she’s rewriting the rookie playbook. At 23, the Croatian sensation has already carved out a name in the WNBA, blending grit on the court with a bold off-court swagger that’s got fans buzzing.
From shutting down opponents to rocking jaw-dropping fits, Mühl’s game is as loud as her style. Now, she’s taking it up a notch, landing a blockbuster multi-year deal with Under Armour that’s got everyone talking. This isn’t just a win for her—it’s a slam dunk for the league’s rising stars.
Seattle Storm guard Nika Mühl continues to make waves on and off the court. The 23-year-old Croatian basketball star, known for her defensive prowess and standout fashion sense, just inked a multi-year endorsement deal with Under Armour.
Fresh off her rookie season in the WNBA, Mühl shared the news on Wednesday, expressing her excitement about joining the sportswear giant. The two-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year highlighted Under Armour’s commitment to its athletes, reflecting the brand’s innovative culture and strong sense of community.

Nika Mühl, selected as the No. 14 pick by the Storm in the 2024 WNBA Draft, praised Under Armour’s approach to athlete partnerships. “The team behind the Under Armour brand is incredible,” she said in a statement. “They’re so innovative, creative, and just relentless at what they do, and I align with that so much.”
She also shared her enthusiasm on Instagram, writing, “Honored to be a part of the [Under Armour] fam.”
Although Nika Mühl played limited minutes in her first WNBA season, she quickly became a fan favorite, particularly for her defensive skills and unique fashion sense. Her impact extends beyond the court, making her a valuable addition to Under Armour’s roster.
However, her journey hit an obstacle when she suffered a torn ACL while playing for Turkish club Besiktas on Oct. 3, just after her rookie season ended. She successfully underwent surgery on Nov. 1 and is now focusing on rehab, aiming for a strong comeback in her second season with the Storm.
Nika Mühl’s next WNBA chapter begins on May 17. The Storm will face the Phoenix Mercury in their 2025 season opener. With a new endorsement deal, she is ready to shine. Her determined mindset will help her make a bigger impact.
