The Memphis Grizzlies went all in against the Phoenix Suns and Kevin Durant during their 120-118 victory. The Grizzlies rookie Cam Spencer picked up some heat from Durant while he was making play around the paint.

The Grizzlies were riding high on confidence with a top-four seed while they locked horns against the Suns. The altercation between KD and Spencer began when Durant fumbled while catching a pass from teammate Royce O’Neale. The misjudgment led to the rookie humiliating Suns’ big man with a slight shove, only to let the verbal war begin.

Here’s what the cameras and hot mic caught Durant and Spencer on the court:

Cam Spencer: “Oh my God.”

Desmond Bane: “What you on?”

Kevin Durant: “I ain’t arguing with y’all. Cooking *****. The f**k are y’all talking about?”

Cam Spencer: “I don’t give a f**k.”

Kevin Durant: “Sit your drunk ass down (to fan).”

Devin Booker: “Soft ass *****, the f**k?”

However, Durant had the last laugh and dropped 35 points (11-24 FG) while also contributing five rebounds and five assists. Teammate Devin Booker added 26 points (9-21 FG), nine rebounds, and six assists. However, with Bradley Beal absent, the third-best contributor was Tyus Jones, who managed only 12 points (4-9 FG).

Despite Durant’s standout performance, the Suns fell short against the Grizzlies, who capitalized on the Suns’ lack of offensive support and continued to ride high in the standings.

As the NBA trade rumors swirl around Kevin Durant, the Phoenix Suns’ future appears increasingly uncertain. According to recent reports, if the Suns decide to part ways with the two-time NBA champion, they are seeking a hefty return package.

Their ask includes three first-round picks and a promising young player in exchange for the veteran. Additionally, the situation has been further complicated by Durant’s reportedly upset reaction to being included in trade discussions.

At 36 years old and owed $54.7 million next season, Durant still makes sense for teams looking for an experienced big man. Notably, the Timberwolves and Rockets have emerged as potential suitors, with speculation that both teams would be willing to honor the Suns’ substantial trade requests.
