Shedeur Sanders is one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL draft class.
Unfortunately, the way he conducts himself seems to turn people off which has been a topic of conversation that goes back to his college days.
The former Colorado quarterback opted out of throwing passes at the NFL Scouting Combine, but he did travel to Indianapolis and meet with several teams.
NFL Insider Josina Anderson reported that at least one assistant coach of “a team drafting in the top seven” described Sanders as “brash” and “arrogant.”
Sanders dismissed any notion that his draft stock was plummeting, describing it as “fool’s gold.”
Ryan Clark has quite the take on what is going on with Shedeur Sanders.
Clark offered his insight while suggesting that his race has something to do with the notion that his stock is dropping.
“You do hear the word arrogant. Why is he arrogant? Because he won’t walk into the meeting and bend the knee, or he won’t sit in the meeting and question himself or his abilities or his knowledge and experience in the game. I don’t believe that that’s arrogance. I want a quarterback that’s so mature.
“We all know that it’s not just about him being Deion Sanders’ son. It’s about the bravado he carries. It’s about the fact that he looks a certain way. It is about the fact that the color of his skin sometimes at that position can be questioned, and I believe Shedeur Sanders is going to have to deal with that until he gets on the field.”
Shedeur finished his final college football season with 4,134 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

Sanders doesn’t have the biggest arm, but his accuracy is unmatched. He has the potential to become a franchise quarterback and is confident that he can be an important piece for a rebuilding NFL team.
With the NFL Combine in the books and pro days underway, Sheduer has the chance to showcase his talent once again to teams that are in need of a quarterback.
Sanders is one of the most polarizing players available in the 2025 NFL Draft, and any team would be lucky to have him.
The good news is that the NFL Draft is still over a month away, so there is plenty of time for good stories to come out before a team decides to make a franchise changing move.
