Brandon Ingram is officially a Toronto Raptor. After months of speculation surrounding his future, the star forward put all trade rumors to rest by signing a three-year, $120 million contract extension with the team. Reportedly, Ingram turned down a four-year, $160 million offer from the New Orleans Pelicans, opting instead for a fresh start in Toronto.

During his introductory press conference, a reporter informed Ingram that his new Raptors teammates showed up to support him. The moment caught him off guard and left him both stunned and deeply appreciative. Ingram didn’t waste time to appreciate their support.

“I appreciate everybody for, you know, welcoming me with open arms. Cole, that’s gonna be my dog. That’s gonna be my Rook, you know. Scotty, I appreciate him. I think he gonna bring the goofy side out of me. PD, Pat, I appreciate him. Everybody over there, they’ve been welcoming, and, you know, I appreciate it every last,” Ingram said.

Before securing his extension, Ingram spent six and a half seasons with the Pelicans. However, this season was challenging, as he was limited to just 18 games due to injuries. Despite his setbacks, he still managed to average 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game.

Brandon Ingram Eyes All-Star Comeback With The Raptors

Brandon Ingram is ready to turn the page to a new chapter in his career, and he believes Toronto is the perfect place to do it. In the press conference, Ingram shared that he is determined to reestablish himself as one of the league’s elite players and help transform the culture of his new team.

The first thing that I heard is they want to make me an All-Star again, and I’m going to be a big part of what they do moving forward. I want to come here and learn. I want to come here and be a sponge, shift the culture, make it a winning culture, and come in here and just listen,” Ingram said.

Toronto marks the third stop in Ingram’s professional career after being drafted second overall in 2016 by the Los Angeles Lakers. With a 17-38 record so far, Toronto’s postseason chances remain slim, but Ingram’s presence brings renewed hope for the franchise.

VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”

Caleb Williams at NFL Draft

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
