The Chicago Cubs will start Shota Imanaga in Game 1. Steele will start in Game 2 against the Dodgers. The Cubs ace will pitch against Roki Sasaki, while Yamamoto will take on Imanaga. Steele held a strong 3.07 ERA after recording a 5-5 record.
The All-Star will have another strong run with the team in 2025. In 134-plus innings pitched, Justin Steele recorded 135 strikeouts. He will continue to play a crucial role for the Cubs alongside Imanaga and the other pitchers.
