Football fans are praying for Patrick Mahomes and his family after the passing of his grandfather, Randy Martin.

Patrick’s mother, Randi Mahomes, announced in an Instagram post on Friday that her father has passed away. Randi shared several images of her father with family members and wrote the following caption:

“Hard to find the words of holding my fathers hand as he goes to Heaven. I know he’s in a better place. I love you daddy. Well done, good and faithful servant!
Matthew 25:23″

Randi revealed on Jan. 24 that her father was in hospice care. Patrick Mahomes played the rest of the 2024 season with a heavy heart, leading the Chiefs to a 32-29 win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game to reach a third straight Super Bowl.

The football community came together to offer prayers and messages of support for the Mahomes family.

“Losing a grandfather is tough. Prayers for you and your family, Pat,” one fan said.

“He got to see his grandson do some amazing things. RIP 🙏🏼,” wrote another.

“Condolences to the Mahomes family. 🙏🏼🙏🏼,” a fan wrote.

“Prayers for Pat and his family,” another posted.

“My condolences to the family,” wrote a user.

“sending my prayers to mahomes and the rest of his family 🙏❤️,” said another.

Randi and Patrick Mahomes Sr. divorced in 2006 and had two sons together, Patrick and Jackson. Though they’ve been divorced for nearly two decades, Randi continues to use her ex-husband’s surname.

Randi and Pat Sr. are also grandchildren to Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ three children, two daughters and a son. Their second daughter and third child, Golden Raye, was born last month.

Our thoughts are with the families and the loved ones of Mr. Martin during this difficult time.

Patrick Mahomes Wraps Up Eighth NFL Season

The 29-year-old Mahomes concluded his eighth NFL season (and seventh as a starter) with a tough 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59. But that performance does not take away the special season in KC, regardless of how the big game ended.

Kansas City became just the fourth team in NFL history to reach three straight Super Bowls, though they became the first to reach the big game again after winning back-to-back championships.

Losing the Super Bowl is never easy, but history says Mahomes and the Chiefs still have plenty more trips to the big game ahead of them.

VIDEO: Some Dude Just Dropped The Cold Hard Truth On Why All Of These NFL Prospects Are “Dating White Women”

Caleb Williams at NFL Draft

Unless this is your first day in America, then you know race relations in this country dominate just everything, and that includes NBA and NFL drafts

During the most recent NFL Draft in Detroit, social media was buzzing as athletes showed up to the red carpet event with their girlfriends and family. Many of the incoming NFL rookies were African-American and were spotted with white women, which has become the usual theme for years.

The same thing happens with the NBA Draft.

This year, the discourse on the NFL Draft and NBA Draft has gotten even louder as African-American women openly pondered why so many of the players never have a partner that is the same race as them.

One guy on TikTok decided to answer that question by revealing that the vast majority of his division-1 friends in college or headed to the league are dating or married to white women and explained why.

He stated that some of them had told him that their white girlfriend looked up to Taylor Swift while their girlfriend looked up to Megan The Stallion. He then states the guy asks how many white women he has seen doing the Megan Thee Stallion challenge as opposed to Black women.

He then dove into another story of a friend who relayed that his Black girlfriend started to request money from him as soon as she found out about his NIL money. She wanted her hair and nails done. He then added that the Black women would be upset if they went to places like Chipotle, and she demanded steak houses.
