RYLAN Clark looked very loved-up with funfair worker boyfriend Kennedy Bates at the Radio 2 In The Park this weekend.

The TV presenter, 36, was spotted in the VIP area with his new man at the festival in Chelmsford, Essex on Saturday.

The Sun revealed last week that Rylan has been quietly dating the rides director for several months and has introduced Kennedy to his friends and family.

The pair were spotted looking loved-up at the event and were even joined by his Celebrity Gogglebox star mum Linda, 73.

One onlooker said: “Rylan and his new man looked seriously in love, they were having a great time together in the VIP.

“They were laughing and joking, and there was lots of PDA. At one point Rylan playfully smacked Kennedy on the bum when he headed off while his boyfriend stood in the queue for food.

“Kennedy was also chatting to Rylan’s mum Linda, he’s clearly been accepted by the family.

“Rylan appeared to be the life and soul of the party and looked happy to have his new man by his side.”

It is Rylan’s first serious relationship since his divorce in 2021 after six years of marriage.

He’s been credited for putting a smile back on Rylan’s face after years of heartache for the TV star.

Kennedy, who used to man the waltzers, is now one of the top dogs at Billy Bates & Sons funfair in Leicester.

The blossoming romance comes after Rylan recently opened up about his personal life on his How To Be In Love podcast.

He said: “At this time I’m very happy.

“Recently I have gotten into a relationship and it’s great and it feels very different to anything I’ve had before, which is a good sign to me.

“It’s the first person I’ve met in four years that I’ve introduced to my family.

“I’ve been so blatant about it no one’s noticed, just because of my job I don’t want to miss out.

“I’m loving what I’ve got at the minute and I want to keep it that way.”

The TV presenter split from ex-husband Dan, 45, in 2021 after six years of marriage.

Telly favourite Rylan later confessed to cheating on Dan during their relationship before attempting to take his own life.

This Morning host also revealed what he’d do differently.

Appearing on Kathy Burke’s Where There’s A Will There’s A Wake podcast, Rylan said: “I don’t regret getting married.

“I mean I regret not having a f***ing prenup. That’s the only thing I regret.

“But even though everyone was like get a prenup, I was like I’m in love. Silly p***k. But actually I got so ill during that point.”

However Rylan confessed one positive came from the situation, continuing: “But I actually look back now, and I’m grateful I did, because now I know I’ll never get like that again.

“I would never let myself get that bad. And actually, it’s chilled me out.”
