FIRST Take host Molly Qerim couldn’t believe her ESPN colleagues Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A. Smith’s commentary about Bill Belichick.

The remarks on live television were about the now-viral beach photos of the New England Patriots icon Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, over the weekend.

At a beach in Jupiter, Florida, the new head coach of the University of North Carolina Belichick was shown balancing the former college cheerleader Hudson as she posed up in the air.

Hudson posted multiple photos of the pair displaying their acrobatic skills on Instagram, and ESPN’s hit debate program First Take wasn’t afraid to react to them.

Monday’s edition of the show discussed the photoshoot, and Stephen A. Smith joked about Belichick.

“Bill Belichick, whatever he’s on, keep taking it. He’s on something,” the fiery personality Smith said while laughing.

“… I’m not mad at him at all. I want to know what it is.”

Qerim then spoke about the Belichick and Hudson’s position in the photos and referenced the game Airplane, something ESPN analyst Mina Kimes also called attention to in an X post on Saturday.

“That’s like a game you do with a little kid where they balance on your legs,” Qerim said before Smith interrupted her, yelling out, “He’s 73, Molly!”

Belichick will be 73 next month.

Sharpe then quipped, “He on them Shannon Sharpe products.”

“… At 73, you see me with my legs up like that, call the paramedics,” the 56-year-old NFL icon added.

Qerim could be seen putting her head down for several seconds during Sharpe’s remarks about Belichick.

 

 

The 40-year-old then put her hands to her head in astonishment after hearing Stephen A. and Sharpe’s comments.

The relationship between Belichick and Hudson has created headlines since the romance became public last summer.

Dr. Jenn Mann, MFT, a licesesed therapist, reveals the key issues experienced by romantic partners with a huge age gap between them.

Dr. Mann claimed it might initially feel exciting when one partner is much younger than the other, like Bill Belichick, 72, and Jordon Hudson, 24, who share a whopping 48-year age difference.

“When people get older, they might just think it is refreshing that a young woman is looking at them adoringly and is attracted to them and is interested in him,” Dr. Mann told The U.S. Sun.

“[But] there is a huge gap in life experience — in just years on this planet, in the way that helps us to evolve, develop, and mature.”

“Even the most mature young person, when there is a 40-year age gap, the older people are incredibly immature.

“You’re not meeting in the middle regarding development and life experience.”

Dr. Mann said one common consideration for older male partners would be the younger female wanting a father figure.

“Usually, younger women are drawn to much older men because of unresolved issues with their fathers,” Dr. Mann added.

“This could be a lack of attention, love, someone not being there, or even someone being in the household but not being present the way she might wish he was.”

Dr. Mann noted that sexual and intimacy issues might begin to be at play, given the older partner may not have as much energy.

What’s more, for older men, “it becomes more difficult typically to get and maintain an erection,” she said.

“There are problems related to sexual performance, which can create other risks when it comes to taking medication for sexual performance.”

Socially, Dr. Mann suggested that issues may arise between a couple when they mix with friends from different generations.

“In this case, if they’re hanging with Bill’s friends in their seventies or even sixties and fifties, a 24-year-old woman at that table will likely struggle to find common ground socially,” she said.

They vacationed in South Florida last week as Hudson showcased their adventures on social media.

Belichick and Hudson most recently traveled together to New Orleans for Super Bowl 59 week last month.

She also appeared in a Dunkin’ commercial with Belichick that aired during the big game.

Belichick will be ready to coach his first season at the collegiate level on September 1.

He was previously the head coach of the Patriots for 24 seasons, earning six Super Bowl titles during that span.
