MICHAEL STRAHAN’s daughter Isabella looked a picture of health almost half a year after she was declared cancer free.

In October 2023 Isabella was diagnosed with a brain tumour and needed three major surgeries to get onto the road of recovery.

But having now returned to school in California, Isabella now appears to be right as rain in a recent social media post by her sister, Sophia.

The 21-year-old was seen in pictures shared by younger sis Sophia on a visit to the beach during a vacation to the Bahamas.

In the post to Sophia’s Instagram, which has over 46,000 followers, Isabella was seen wearing a b!k!n! during the day and a dress for the evening.

Fans gushed over the pictures, with one saying: “Beautiful.”

A second said: “You’re stunning!!”

A third added: “Soooo gorg.”

Another said: “Great to see you two together! Looking happy and healthy.”

In a heartbreaking interview with People Magazine, Fox NFL star Strahan opened up on his daughter’s battle and how the family had dealt with the medical problem.

He said: “There were times where she got emotional about it and it kind of hit her.

“But I wouldn’t say you were depressed. I think there were some depressing moments you had.

“I think overall one of the things she said to me, probably the hardest thing I ever had to hear, was ‘dad I’ll do whatever I just want to live.

“You said that and it shocked me. Usually, I cry when I tell people that but I’m trying to hold it together for you.

“That was like a “wow” moment, but it was also a reassuring moment because she wouldn’t quit. She was going to fight, and she did.”

In that interview, Isabella revealed that prior to her chemotherapy and radiation treatment she had undergone fertility treatment to freeze her eggs.

She said: “After my initial surgery that was on October 27th, I went for rehab I think about the beginning of November.

“I headed to New York and I had my egg retrieval on Thanksgiving last year.

“I think my doctor definitely recommended it because it was just the safest and smartest thing to do. I didn’t love the process, it was definitely not fun.”

Speaking about Isabella’s overall recovery from the critical operation, he added: “[Isabella] was thin and tired and bald and all the things you hate to see your kid go through. But her spirit was there.

“One of the things she said, probably the hardest thing I had to hear was, ‘Dad I’ll do whatever. I want to live.’

“Isabella’s strength and resilience was the same as it was when she was a little girl.

“The way she handled every day with grace was amazing. I knew she wouldn’t quit. She was going to fight — and she did.”
