SURPRISING CONFESSION: Katy Perry REVEALS pre-show ritual so intense it “HURTS HER BRAIN”—what does she put herself through before performing?

In the middle of her LifeTimes tour, Katy Perry gave a new pre-show ritual a try and it left her “hurting.”

The Dark Horse singer is currently on the Canadian leg of her world tour and just before taking the stage in Vancouver, she decided to try a new product she bought from Instagram.

She had bought a facial ice bath bowl in efforts to make herself “look better” than she had earlier in the tour, when she had been caught looking distraught just before calling it quits with Orlando Bloom.

While wearing a white robe, Katy started off the video bursting into laughter as she tried to get out, “I bought this off Instagram.”

Just after she gathered herself and put on a nose plug and mouthpiece, she plunged her face into the ice water, lasting 18 seconds submerged. During the time, her team poked fun at the “stupid” act, causing Katy to put up her middle finger.

Once she pulled her face out of the water, she melted to the floor in exhaustion and pain.

After a few moments of preparation, she rushed “back in” with her eyepatches barely holding onto her face.

Before submerging her face once again, she admitted. “This is the best Instagram purchase I have ever made.”

For her second time, she lasted only eight seconds long before she quickly pushed herself up and said, “It hurts my brain. I’m done.”

“I tried to look better for you Canada,” Katy concluded. “I don’t care.”

She captioned the clip, “OH BOY CANADA HERE WE COME, EH.”

Her fans were reeling in the comments, as one praised, “Girl?! You were a warrior. I couldn’t even stand 10 ily.”

Another added, “I can’t stop watching this! I love you.”

“Haha this is amazing,” another commenter wrote.

Katy has been on the road since April. She kicked off her LifeTimes tour in Mexico City, Mexico and has already performed in big cities like Las Vegas and Sydney, Australia.

She is currently set to wrap up the tour in Abu Dhabi, performing at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Katy hasn’t been on the road since 2018 for Witness: The Tour, where she promoted her fifth studio album. Many of her fans were not sure she was going to go on tour as she skipped out on the worldly adventure in 2020 for her Smile album.
