After a brief hiatus from the recent string of Full Goldberg Collapse™ moments on the air, all is right with the world as Whoopi Goldberg’s head has finally made contact with The View‘s Hot Topics table once again.

The View seemingly attempted to steal Goldberg’s joy on Tuesday morning’s episode, as the 69-year-old talk show moderator and EGOT-winning Ghost actress was tasked with introducing a point of discussion about former NFL player and current Golden Bachelor star Mel Owens, 66, indicating that he would eliminate contestants older than age 60.

After Goldberg teed up the topic in her signature valley girl accent — which she typically employs when a topic is of little to no interest to her — Joy Behar chimed in to say that she actually empathizes with Owens.

“I can relate to what he’s saying. I want a guy who’s younger than me, and preferably a compatible donor,” Behar, 82, quipped. “Men are afraid to die. We are, too. No one likes to die, but men always like a younger woman to give them this feeling that they’re going to live forever.”

Sara Haines half-jokingly added, “No, they want her for her b00bs,” while Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “It sounds like a man can be a dog at 66 as well as in his 20s. 45-60? That’s your only range? He’s 66, what’s wrong with that?”

Shortly after this point, when Sunny Hostin called Owens’ thoughts “ridiculous,” Goldberg’s head began hovering near the territory of faux unconsciousness, with her head resting in her hand at first, before she closed her eyes.

When the camera cut back to her, she had fully rested her body on the Hot Topics table, with her eyes apparently shut in protest over the shallow discussion.

“Whoopi t00k a nap during that one. She took a nice little nap,” Behar observed, after the camera showed a close-up of Goldberg pretending to open her eyes after a moment of resistance disguised as a peaceful slumber.

“I did,” Goldberg confirmed, before sending the show to a commercial break with a scathing response to Owens.

“I think somebody who played in the NFL should not be talking about what he doesn’t want, because you’ve been hit enough, your body’s beat to p00p,” Goldberg summed up.

Just before the program cut, Goldberg delivered a final blow directly to the camera.

“What you don’t want is what you’re gonna get,” she said. “That’s how God works!”
