The Los Angeles Dodgers played their second exhibition game against the Hanshin Tigers in Tokyo. The Boys in Blue had a strong victory against the Yomiuri Giants but lost against the Tigers. However, all attention was paid to the ceremonial first pitch.
Well-known K-pop sensation MiSaMo threw the first pitch ahead of their game against the Tigers. Baseball fans and music lovers went crazy after watching the trio throw the first pitch. Tokyo dome was fired up when they took the mound as everyone eagerly awaited this special moment.
MiSaMo was initially part of a music troop named “Twice,” but they split and formed their own band in 2023. “MiSaMo” was formed by Mina, Sana, and Momo. The trio found a creative way to name their band with the first two letters of their names. Baseball and Dodgers fans worldwide reached the trio, throwing the first pitch. Here’s a look at the video, along with some fan reactions from X.
“Gorgeous ladies!” wrote one fan.
“You did great MISAMO!” another fan responded.
“So cool never taught I would see MiSaMo with Dodgers,” another fan wrote.

Miguel Rojas took the initiative to teach MiSaMo how to throw the ceremonial pitch ahead of the game. Rojas was seen helping the trio and patiently showing them how to execute a pitch. While they certainly knew how to throw, Rojas helped them achieve a professional touch.
He taught them how to take the pitching stance and execute a pitch correctly. However, the Dodgers struggled to score a single run and gave up three in a disappointing loss. Ohtani and his squad failed to prioritize their offense. Sadly, Mookie Betts was unable to play due to illness.
