SHOCKING VIEWER BACKLASH: The Chase Flooded With COMPLAINTS as Fans Blast Bradley Walsh – “HE’S GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME!”

Although he is the beloved presenter of The Chase, it doesn’t mean Bradley Walsh is exempt from rubbing viewers up the wrong way. During the latest instalment of the ITV quiz show, the presenter welcomed Nick, Jane, Paris and Lucy, who were hoping to walk away with a hefty cash prize. Like always, each player took part in a cash builder round before battling it out with Darragh Ennis. But it was during these head-to-heads that Bradley began to irritate viewers, who claimed he was constantly pretending to know the answers before they were revealed.

In one instance, Jane was asked: “According to a scientific study published in 2022, which sound causes the greatest fear to animals on the African savannah?” When it emerged Jane had picked ‘Lion’s growl’, Bradley pondered whether she had chosen the incorrect answer. “You’ve put Lion’s growl. Hmm. Okay. Elephant’s trumpet surely?” However, Lion’s growl was revealed to be the correct answer, leading Bradley to congratulate Jane on her choice.

Later in the show, Lucy and The Menace were asked: “In the Sondheim musical ‘Into the Woods’, who sings ‘On the Steps of the Palace’?”

After it was revealed Lucy opted for Cinderella over Little Red Riding Hood and Rapunzel, Bradley quipped: “You’ve put Cinderella. It’s got to be. It’s got to be Cinderella.”

But the presenter’s constant remarks about the possible answers left fans furious online, with one writing on X: “Brad needs to stop this pretending to know the answer business Doing my head in.”

“Is there no beginning to Brad’s general knowledge. He wouldn’t even pass the audition for #thechase,” another penned as a third posted: “Brad makes a face as if he knows and then waits for the answer and says ‘yeh of course!’”

Mocking the host, another echoed: “Brad: A, Yeah, I agree. Has to be A surely? Know what I mean? Definitely A in my book. Gottabe innit? Definitely A. 100% A. No doubt about it, A, Absolutely. (It’s C, Brad).”

A fifth fan echoed: “When Brad pretends to know the answer,” alongside an image with the words “don’t start”.

Nick and Jane were the only two who made it through to the final chase, playing for £4,000 each. However, after ending on a score of just 12, the duo bid farewell to the money as Darragh caught them with 24 seconds remaining.
