Viewers were moved to tears as Jane Moore – host of Loose Women, who once lived with the Osbournes in Los Angeles – Shared deeply emotional moments from Ozzy and Sharon’s memoir. These were moments truly unforgettable and profoundly treasured!

The Loose Women panel honoured rock legend Ozzy Osbourne on Wednesday after his d3ath and chatted to one of the ITV presenters who had formed an unexpected bond with him.

The 76-year-old had battled numerous health issues over recent years and received a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2019, though the exact cause of his d3ath remains unconfirmed.

His family released a statement saying: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

Yet when the devastating news was discussed on Loose Women during Wednesday’s programme, panellist Jane Moore, who interrupted her holiday to be a guest on the show, admitted she initially believed his d3ath was fake.

Speaking live through a video connection, the ITV presenter revealed: “It was an incredible shock. I’m on holiday out in France and I first got a call at mid-afternoon.

“To be honest, I didn’t believe it. Ozzy’s been subjected to many online hoaxes about his d3ath over the years. So, I just thought it was another one.

“I only saw him just over two weeks ago when he did his concert with Black Sabbath in Villa Park in Birmingham, literally a couple of minutes from his house where he grew up.”

As clips of Ozzy were shown on-screen from the charity gig, Jane explained what a remarkable feat it was for him to participate in the performance given his movement difficulties, reports Belfast Live.

She further commented: “Sharon took me to see him in his dressing room just before he went on stage. He was nervous because it’s his hometown and home crowd. But he was also really excited about doing it.”

During the show, Jane disclosed her close ties with the Osbourne family, having collaborated with Sharon on her memoir.

She reminisced: “I ghostwrote Sharon’s third memoir and she said, ‘Come and live with us in LA.’ Because it was a really big, quick turnaround.

“She said, ‘Just come and hang out with us.’ So, I had this plan that I would wake up very early in the morning at about seven am, get yesterday’s notes written up while the house was quiet before the next day started.

“But, Ozzy always used to get up early as well, and he would sit talking to me, because I’d trained as a journalist in Birmingham. I’m quite used to the Birmingham accent. I could understand him, it was still quite strong.

“A lot of people in LA just didn’t understand a word he was saying, so he was quite pleased there was someone there he could chat away with, and he had so many funny stories.”
