EXPLOSIVE TWIST: Emmerdale Family RIPPED APART After Moira Dingle ATT. A.CKS Joe Tate – SH0CKING Confrontation Sends SH0CKWAVES Through the Village as Loyalties Are Tested and SECRETS Threaten to Tear the Dingles Apart!

The Dingles could be ripped apart as Moira Dingle (played by Natalie J Robb) accidentally punches Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) when she steps in to defend Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).

Moira has been struggling financially in recent months and her troubles deepened when the slurry tank leaked. The leak contaminated the village’s main water supply, sending Harry Sugden (played by Brody Hall) to hospital. She was handed an eye-watering fine and this week, discovers she can’t appeal it because Joe has blackmailed those involved.

Working with Kim Tate (Claire King), Joe is doing everything in his power to push Moira out of the farm so that Kim can buy the land. In upcoming scenes on Emmerdale, Moira and Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) are left seething when Joe warns them about Kim Tate’s (Claire King) determination to take their land.

Moira assures Kyle and Isaac that they aren’t losing their home, but once she’s gone, they hear a noise coming from the barn.

When investigating, they find two masked teenagers, unbeknownst that one of them is Dylan. Panicking, Kyle accidentally stabs Dylan in the leg with a pitchfork before Moira arrives and scares them off. Believing Joe sent them, she heads over to confront him.

But during the incident, Moira ends up catching Lydia as she goes to punch Joe. Speaking about the incident, Natalie told Express.co.uk and other press: “She does want to take the problem to the police and she thinks Joe Tate has sent them to threaten her.

“But then it turns out it’s not Joe Tate but Moira doesn’t realise that until she’s gone into the house and threatened him. She goes to throw a punch at him and Lydia steps in. He says something that he usually does that makes her mad and then she goes to punch him. Lydia jumps in front of her and gets punched in the ear, it’s quite horrific.”

Natalie added: “Moira is devastated that Lydia’s got it of all people which will no doubt go on to cause more trouble between the Dingles.”

Although Cain threatens Lydia about going to the police, PC Swirling arrests Moira who later tells her in confidence that it’s not looking good for her case.

Things then get heated between Sam and Cain at the Woolpack leading to an ultimatum: Sam must choose to side with the Tates or the Dingles. The ultimatum threatens to rip the half-brothers apart, especially when Sam learns that Cain threatened his wife.

Of the ongoing family feud, Natalie said: “Moira doesn’t handle it in the best way but Sam’s mainly divided because Cain threatens Lydia about pressing charges and it’s Joe Tate who drops the complaint.

“Sam doesn’t like the fact that Lydia was threatened. It just makes it worse so Sam and Lydia are not speaking to Cain and Moira at the moment. Moira tries to encourage Cain to sort it out otherwise this could be a family feud that could stay because Sam is really upset about it.”
