Gogglebox fans have expressed their worry after spotting Julie Malone’s concerning injury.

The television personality became part of the Channel 4 programme in 2014, alongside husband Tom Malone Senior and sons Shaun and Tom Jnr – who departed in 2011.

The family have since established themselves as audience favourites through their amusing commentary, consistently entertaining viewers with their wit.

Nevertheless, followers were recently alarmed when they observed a troubling element in a latest photograph shared online, reports the Manchester Evening News.

During this week, Julie and Tom posted on their joint Instagram account, sharing an image from their weekend at Manchester’s Craic By The Creek festival.

The couple smiled brightly whilst posing outdoors – yet supporters noticed Julie was wearing a bandage on her left arm.

Julie refrained from explaining the incident, though her admirers quickly voiced their worries.

One individual commented: “Oh dear what have you done to your arm.”

Another person remarked: “Lovely photo but why the pot on your arm oh dear hope it mends well.”

A third also posted a surprised emoji alongside: “Your arm? ? ? ?”.

A fourth questioned her: “What’s happened to your arm?”.

This follows Julie’s husband Tom Malone Senior being admitted to hospital in March and receiving treatment for a wound.

He shared a photograph of himself from within the medical facility on Instagram. Tom was seen with his arm in a sling and a medical gown draped around him, leaving his injured arm and shoulder exposed.

The circumstances surrounding the Channel 4 star’s injury were not explicitly detailed, but he shared an optimistic message alongside the photo.

He penned: “Woke up with a nappy as a dressing, was caught off guard when the nurse said she had to change my nappy ! Grateful to our NHS, top notch care Thank you, home now!”
