HEARTBREAKING: David Muir REVEALS ‘Dramatic New Details About Terrible Accident’ after leaving fans in tears

David Muir kicked off his latest episode of World News Tonight with a dramatic update to a previous story that left fans in tears when he reported it.

The 51-year-old news show anchor initially began Tuesday’s show by announcing the d3ath of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, at 76, noting it was the second dramatic d3ath of a celebrity in as many days, before once again reporting on the tragic d3ath of Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who d!ed in a drowning accident in Costa Rica at age 54.

The actor, whose cause of d3ath has since been confirmed by authorities, was the subject of Muir’s somber report, as he addressed viewers and told them there new dramatic details in the case.

“Now to dramatic new details at this hour on the terrible accident that took the life of Cosby Show actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, made famous of course, playing Theo Huxtable,” he said in a direct address to viewers.

“Tonight, we have now learned he and his eight-year-old daughter were both struggling in those strong currents,” he continued. “Volunteers frantically tried to save them.”

He then added that authorities had confirmed they had “tried CPR” on the actor for 45 minutes before he was pronounced d3ad.

Victor Queindo’s report then shared more details with viewers, as he spoke to authorities about what happened on the beach, with the police telling him that surfers who also needed to be saved had successfully gotten the eight-year-old to shore.

He also shared that the beach where the accident occurred, Playa Grande, is known for its dangerous rip currents, showcasing a sign at the entrance that warned beachgoers in English about the risk of drowning due to the strong rip currents.

The report also focused on Warner’s devotion to his daughter, as well as his decision to keep his family life largely private in later years, with small glimpses and mentions of them on social media.

The report also spoke about tributes from his former co-star Raven-Symone, who portrayed Olivia Kendall on the show.

“I love you and I know you’re watching over all of us now. Bye Malcom,” she said in her message, which played in the report.

Warner’s d3ath was first reported Monday, though his d3ath occurred on Sunday.

He had never publicly revealed the identities of his wife and daughter, who he is survived by.

He was also remembered by other co-stars, including Bill Cosby, and Karen Malina white, who he also dated for seven and a half years.

Funeral arrangements have not been disclosed.
