The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left in disbelief during Wednesday’s edition of the ITV quiz show after one player made a very brave admission ahead of her cash builder

Bradley Walsh was left stunned by a contestant’s revelation on The Chase. Four new players were all set to challenge one of the UK’s top quizzers.

Spencer, Ali, Susan and Jamahl were warmly welcomed by the TV host onto the popular ITV quiz show.

Susan was the first to test her trivia knowledge after racking up an impressive £6,000 in the Cash Builder round. She successfully returned to the team, making a “great start” to the prize fund.

Jamahl was next to face Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan, but his time on the show was sadly cut short when he was caught by The Chaser. However, it was Ali who really caught Bradley’s attention with her surprising hobby.

Bradley Walsh often engages in friendly banter with each contestant on The Chase, and during this chat, Ali revealed that she is a nine-year cancer survivor. Bradley congratulated her as Ali went on to disclose that she has raised £73,000 for Macmillan, reports the Liverpool Echo.

She detailed how she’s undertaken a wide array of daring fundraising activities to overcome her fear of heights, including wing walking. Astonished by Ali’s courage, a disbelieving Bradley exclaimed: “You’ve not done wing walking, no you’ve not. I was never doing that.”

Clearly impressed by Ali, he added: “That’s a great thing”, while The Vixen labelled her as “fearless.”

Following a triumphant round against The Chaser, Ali added £4,000 to the team’s total, bringing it up to £10,000. However, Spencer wasn’t as lucky and was caught by The Vixen, leaving the show with nothing.

In the final chase, Ali teamed up with Susan in an attempt to secure the cash prize. Despite their efforts, The Chaser managed to catch their score of 15 with just 19 seconds left on the clock.
