EMMERDALE FANS ABUZZ: Emmerdale fans ‘Work Out’ John Sugden’s next V!CTIM after SH0CK TWIST

Emmerdale viewers are worried for a fan favourite after a surprise twist saw Paddy Dingle (played by Dominic Brunt) revealed as the online counsellor John Sugden (Oliver Farnsworth) has been confiding in online in the ITV soap. The murd3rer, who has yet to be exposed as Nate Robinson’s (Jurrell Carter) k!ller, recently turned to the service to talk about how he is struggling in the aftermath of his crimes. Unbeknownst to him, he is actually confiding in his husband Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) father figure. Now, fans are worried Paddy will be his next victim while bringing him down.

“Oh my god, not Paddy being John’s pen pal online, didn’t see that coming at all. I love it, oh my god if he finds out he better not try and k!ll Paddy,” one penned on X. “How long before John is giving, Paddy the needle,” a second panicked in reference to John’s preferred method of k!lling, “Paddy being the one to potentially being John down, is a shocker,” another exclaimed.

“Surely this is a way that John will be revealed as a k!ller, talking to Paddy online,” a fourth speculated.

“It might be the very ‘out of left field’ thing that could get John exposed earlier than October week or Christmas – after all, all the conversations will be on Paddy’s laptop,” a fifth pondered.

Meanwhile, a sixth pleaded: “Oh my days, PLEASE let it be Paddy who exposes John!”

Guilt-ridden John has been baring his soul to the online counsellor since he left Owen Michaels (Simon Haines) to d!e. He has no idea the sympathetic person on the other end is practically on his doorstep.

He first accessed the service in the episode that aired on Wednesday, July 23. He logged in again on July 24, and Paddy assured him it was a safe space.

Explaining he needed to get stuff off his chest, he typed “There is no escape from it.” When Paddy said it sounded like he was struggling, he acknowledged: “I can’t talk to anyone. I can’t make it right.”

“Everyone makes mistakes,” Paddy assured him, not knowing the magnitude of John’s secret. “What would starting afresh look like?” He asked the k!ller. This seemed to plant a seed in John, who pondered the idea and shared: “That’s really helped.”

With John feeling ever more comfortable sharing his issues online, it is only a matter of time before he confides the truth about Nate’s d3ath to Paddy, putting the popular vet in danger.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
