The Los Angeles Sparks are giving all of the trash-talking men a chance to prove themselves.

The franchise is looking for male amateur basketball players to be part of their practice squad.

It could be your lucky day to not only meet some of the stars on the team but also back up all of the talking you may have done about the ladies and their game on the court.

You can visit the Sparks’ tryouts set for April 12 at El Camino College.

For those wondering why the Los Angeles Sparks are doing this, it is actually quite simple.

They want to foster a secure and competitive practice environment for the team, bring high energy and dedication to daily practices, and collaborate with the coaching staff to effectively implement and demonstrate opposing teams’ offensive and defensive systems during practice sessions.

“Lemme go in and guard Cam Brink,” one fan said.

“All you bros that say you could drop 40 on a WNBA team, now’s your time to prove it 💀,” a second fan stated.

“Me guarding Dearica Hamby in the post,” another fan posted with a scene from Love & Basketball.

“Fellas, this might be our only shot at the league… don’t fumble,” a guy stated about the Los Angeles Sparks’ practice challenge.

One final fan added: “Some dudes about to show up thinking this is Love & Basketball tryouts instead of a real practice squad.”

The Los Angeles Sparks Had A Terrible 2024 Season

Los Angeles need a huge change.

The Sparks finished with just 8 wins and 32 losses, missing the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season and failing to improve on their 17-23 record from the previous season.

The team fired head coach Curt Miller after two seasons.

Injuries certainly affected play as No. 2 overall draft pick Cameron Brink to a torn ACL after just 15 games.

The Sparks started 13 different players and never could find their footing all year.
