Taylor Swift’s message to Travis Kelce over his NFL retirement decision finally revealed after Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss

The pop superstar is said to have played a key role in the tight end’s decision

TAYLOR SWIFT sent Travis Kelce a crystal clear message about retirement, it’s been claimed.

The tight end was seemingly on course to hang up his cleats after the Kansas City Chiefs missed out on a historic third-straight Super Bowl last month.

Kelce, however, decided to continue playing for at least another season.

And it’s claimed his other half played a significant role in his decision not to walk away from the gridiron.

A source close to the couple told Page Six: “She didn’t want Travis to retire. She wanted him to go out on a high note.”

The Swift-Kelce insider added: “He has to be able to physically do it.”

Swift is said to have convinced Kelce to continue playing during a conversation about what their future holds.

Kelce’s retirement decision was leaked by Pat McAfee, who read out a text exchange they had live on his show.

Kelce told the ESPN star in a text: “I’m coming back, for sure.

“Gonna try and get to the best shape I’ve been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop.
