Stephen A Smith has finally taken the gloves off when it comes to LeBron James confronting him.

LeBron James appeared to have revealed what Smith had said regarding James’ son, Bronny, which upset him, so he confronted ESPN’s “First Take” host last week at the Lakers’ home game against the New York Knicks.

James made the apparent revelation to Richard Jefferson. That interaction was caught on camera and shared online.

“Once he talks about, ‘I’m pleading with you as a father,’ I can’t,” James sounds like he’s telling Jefferson.

That interaction has apparently pissed off Stephen A Smith to the point where he had to speak on the situation again.

During an interview on the Gilbert Arenas show, he was very vulgar in his response.

Smith called what LeBron did “weak” and “bullshit.”

Gilbert Arenas has never been shy about being a LeBron James apologist, but he also had a message for the Lakers star on his podcast.

The outspoken former NBA star weighed in on the Lakers star confronting the ESPN personality last week at the Lakers game in Los Angeles.

“LeBron James, if you ever do that s–t again [with] my potential boss, all hell gonna break loose,” Arenas jokingly said on his podcast.”

Critiquing Bronny as a player should be fair game, but Smith may have stepped over the line when he questioned LeBron as a father.

LeBron James made headlines last week as he clashed with Stephen A. Smith in a heated courtside exchange.

This incident seems to be bad blood based on what Smith stated about Bronny earlier this year.

In January, the First Take host said that LeBron’s son and teammate Bronny James “is in the NBA because of his dad” while adding that “some things just have to be said.”
