Sad truth behind Danny Jones’ wife moving out as ‘fragile reunion’ exposed

Danny Jones’ wife Georgia Horsley has moved into a friend’s house temporarily but the McFly singer and the model are adamant they want to try and work things out

Danny Jones’ wife Georgia has not permanently moved out of their home after he kissed Maura Higgins, friends have said. Danny was seen locking lips with his I’m A Celebrity co-star at the BRIT Awards a few weeks back.

There had been reports that Georgia had made the move to a friend’s house amid it all. However, it has now been revealed that she has spent a few nights with pal Rose, who is also good friends with Danny, to “get away from it all”.

A source exclusively told The Mirror of Danny and Georgia’s living plans: “They are still together but Danny is still in the dog house and it’s very much a fragile union. They are both hoping to be able to work through their problems. That hasn’t changed. She is allowed a few days to decompress and see a friend.”

Danny issued a statement a few days back to “deeply apologise” to his wife and family. Posting on social media, he said: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately. I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”

A source later revealed to us that Danny felt “mortified” by all that has happened – but is desperate to make it up to his family. They said: “Danny has been mortified about what’s happened and the awful situation he has put everyone in.

“He cares so deeply about his family and hopes his words will draw a line under what has been a deeply upsetting time, for everyone. Georgia and his son are absolutely everything to him. Throughout all this, he has been so thankful for the support of his fans. He just wants to move on, and heal in private. Fair play to Danny to owning this and addressing things head-on.”

Whilst Danny and Georgia have their own things to work through, the pair are seemingly keen to give their relationship another go. One source told us the pair were “planning on working through things and having many more private conversations as they worked on healing,” as they added: “while they are together and are under the same roof, he certainly isn’t out of the woods yet.”

Danny and Maura were filmed sharing a kiss at the Universal Music BRIT Awards afterparty on Saturday March 1. Maura has yet to speak out on the kiss, whilst Danny’s comments came just a few days ago. Should Georgia forgive Danny after his apology? Vote in our poll HERE to have your say.

“They are clearly looking to put things behind them, and move on with their lives. It really hasn’t been a good time at all but they are very much together,” a source explained before Danny had spoken out. Insisting they were “positive people”, the insider then added: “Things have been hard but they are moving forward as a couple.”
